okay, people! who is with me on this one? i am feeling a little nervous about all those slides! i'm looking forward to meeting everyone in this course!

i will gather up any useful sites i find in the last med micro club and elsewhere and put them in this post!

Good luck with A&P II and micro. I have heard that the two of them together are killer. Depending on what else you have going on. I could have started my nursing classes this past fall, but was told I would set myself up to fall as I have 3 children and was working full time.

Hopefully I'll make it through. I only plan on doing work study part time and my hubby will be gone for about a year, so I think I'll have lots of time to study. If it becomes too overwhelming I'll drop Micro, I have a 4.0 as of now and I don't want to flub it up. My wish is to make it through the semester without loosing it:eek:

Hello. I will be taking Microbiology this upcoming Winter Semester. I am definetely in to joining the club. I am really nervous about this course. I took it 8 years ago and received a C now Im taking it over with the hopes of Getting an A. I start Jan 19th its a little later than normal becasue its a hybrid course. It involves meeting once a week for the lab sessions and the rest of the classroom time is done online. Wish me luck

I checked with the school today and they don't offer medical microbiology, it's just regular micro so would the be ok to take and help with what i will need to know

MDbarker, I think it's the same thing. Is it geared for health professionals? (I am assuming it is). Our school doesn't call it Medical Micro either but it is for healthcare professionals.

Hi all!! I'm also taking Micro this next semester, along with A&P II!!! These are my very last classes that are part of the pre-reqs and support classes as part of our local community college Nursing Program. I decided to bite the bullet and take both classes since they are my last two. Now I just pray that I get into the Nursing Program for Fall 06 since I won't have any other classes left to take!! I loved A&P I, and we use the same book for A&P II and continue through until the end of the book. I'm not sure what to expect for Micro though. I'm nervous since I have these two hard classes together.
