LOL! Welcome! 18! There is nothing really difficult involved in the "club"; it's just a place/common thread to ask questions and seek support/camaraderie when you need it. It's also a handy place to vent with people who are going through the same things as you are! It's also great that it's a sticky so it will never move from the top section of the board!

I look forward to chatting with you more and helping each other out. I don't really have much of a clue about this course as of yet but one of my friends IRL took it and thought it was ok.

Specializes in PeriOp, ICU, PICU, NICU.

will be using: a human perspective 4th edition. anybody else using the same book?

The community college that I attend doesn't require us to take Micro Biology all we have to have is a Biology from high school. I've noticed on most thread everyone has to take this, so why not my school? I'm in Virginia i don't know if that makes a difference. Should I take it anyway just for heads up or not?

Specializes in MICU.

My school requires micro biology for the nursing program and will accept biology from high school to be accepted into the program if it was in the past 5 years and a C or better grade was earned:wink2:

I am also taking it along with my nursing classes. It is over the 5 year mark and I have to retake it. I start on Jan. 17th and I also have the book "Microbiology" by Robert W. Bauman. Good luck everyone!! I have to take it at nighttime because of the nursing classes.

Specializes in Labor and Delivery.

Hi, I'd like to join the group. I'll be taking Micro, CPR, and AP II. I look forward to all the support that we'll be able to offer eachother. Hope everyone is having a great time on thier break.

Not sure either. We are required to take Human Bio, Organic Chem, Inorganic Chem, A&P 1 and 2, and Micro. Can't be from high school or more than 5 yrs. old.

I haven't taken Micro yet will do starting the 9th of Jan, so can't say if you should take it or not. I do however, cannot understand why your school doesn't require it.
