did anyone interview at medical city lewisville for L&D?

Would anyone be able to give me the low-down on what the internship portion of the residency is like? I know we have some clinical days... is the rest like online courses? Training classes? Any info is helpful! Thanks ?

Hi, I recently accepted an offer and it states "during this time you will complete courtroom, simulation and clinical training."

I just finished an interview for SICU/NVICU at medical city Dallas. Has anyone else interviewed for these positions?

Interviewing at Medical city arlington on Thursday for L&D! I've been told that medical city likes to ask lots of clinical questions. Has anyone gotten these?

I had more behavioral questions. I had one clinical question and she asked me to explain how to put in an NG tube from start to finish

Ooooh that would definitely catch me off guard. Hopefully they keep it simple haha.

I interviewed for L&D at medical city dallas (& accepted their offer!). I interviewed with the managers for 20ish min, and then had a 20ish min peer interview with 3 staff nurses. Mainly behavioral questions! Nothing tricky or surprising. Don’t stress!

Congrats!! I'm nervous/excited. How long did they take to give you an offer? Also, do you know how long the internship actually is? The email just said anywhere from 10 wks- 6 months.

They actually made me an offer on the same day- but I am not sure that is standard. They told me to expect a week of waiting- but I was pleasantly surprised! 

Dallas has a 12 week internship. Not sure if it’s the same across facilities.
