Hey ! I know im super early to make this thread for the MDE program at Columbia for the 2021 start year ? but I was wondering if there are any future nurses out there as eager as me to get started !!

OMG I did the sameee I submitted the need based financial aid app but its weird bc I haven't uploaded my resume yet or checked the button for completing the video essay so surely it actually didn't submit the application?

I thought I was the only one ! Im not sure if its a glitch in their system because I know you would have to pay for the application since I didn’t do the fee waiver. I emailed them to ask them whats going on because they should’ve made it clear if both applications were submitted at once ? It’s probably a mistake on their end

but that leads to 4 different links: apply for financial aid, scholarship and grants, financial aid forms and financial aid faq. when I click on forms, there is only one for loans not a scholarship and when I click on scholarship and grants it just says I need to fill out FAFSA. doesnt open a new application

Wow you’re right ! Phew ? I was stressed out for a sec because it made no type of sense to me

Hi, when you click on "start new application" it doesn't give you the option for the financial aid scholarship application?

@am_elle Below your application there should be a "start new application" button (like in the screenshot below). Then you can select Financial Aid Scholarship. Sorry, I don't think I explained it properly before because I had forgotten exactly how I got to the application. I hope that helps.

Thank you @ank2108. I selected the "start new application" and it says it is not available. I will try again tomorrow. Thanks again.

just wondering if I’m doing this right but did y’all have a thesis in your personal statement? I know it’s not that type of essay so I just want to make sure bc I don’t have a good writing background 

Also still have so much to do and so mad at myself for procrastinating ugh
