Hey ! I know im super early to make this thread for the MDE program at Columbia for the 2021 start year ? but I was wondering if there are any future nurses out there as eager as me to get started !!

If I took the GRE for another program, but got a very average score (only a little bit above 300), do you think it would hurt me or help me to include it on the application? I keep going back and forth.

My timed essay question was nearly identical to the personal statement. ?‍♀️ Time to go last minute change up my personal statement response!

I've been overthinking for few days about my video essay! I have a question, so like once you're done recording the video, does it show you the video after so you could see if you did well or not. Because I did a video essay and after that, it didn't show me the replay. So, I submitted it.

This happened to me too! Glad to know I'm not the only one. The obstacle I talked about in my video essay relates entirely to why I wanted to pursue nursing (and is what I also wanted to talk about in my personal statement) ? I'm making last minute changes.... brb while I go cry

Literally my question was "what is your ideal nursing position and how do you plan on getting there?" ?

I couldn't rewatch mine either but I did get automatic confirmation email saying I submitted it from [email protected] ! Check your spam and if you're still worried just send an email to admissions, I'm sure they can double check.

I thought the timed essay questions did not relate to nursing!

Did anyone fill out the need based financial aid scholarship application? Every time I click on the link it just goes back to the log in page.

I know this has been asked many times but how many minutes do we have for the video essay? Is it 2 or 2.5?

I believe it is just the FAFSA application. according to columbias website 

" Need-based aid (scholarships or grants) are awarded on the basis of financial aid for the student as determined by the FAFSA. Aid received may change at any point during the academic year if a student no longer has financial need. The following criteria determine a change in financial aid:

Updated information on the Student Aid Report (SAR)

Changes in family contribution, external scholarships, or any changes in the student's enrollment

Significant changes are required to be reported immediately to the Office of Financial Aid. The following need-based scholarships are available: "

but someone correct me if I am wrong.

I think its 2.5 bc it says 2 and a half mins on the application.

Hey all！Where do we upload our unofficial transcripts? On the Academic portion of the application I entered all my info for each pre req and my degree and all the institutions I have attended but I’m confused as to where we upload the transcript.

Never mind. I forgot I already did it. I clicked it and it says I already uploaded.
