Hey ! I know im super early to make this thread for the MDE program at Columbia for the 2021 start year ? but I was wondering if there are any future nurses out there as eager as me to get started !!
What's good future nurses!
I'm Louie! One of my recommenders has decided to back out. So, I know need to fill their spot with someone else. On the application portal, it won't allow me to replace them and I also can't add a brand new recommender since the maximum amount is 3 references. I emailed the admissions team, but I also wanted to try my luck here. Does anyone know what to do?
Cheers.
@Louie Vuitton Click the recommender that you want to replace, then you'll see an exclude button- click that and you should be able to add a new recommender!

I was thinking of doing either tonight or tomorrow morning... I've been practicing with random questions but I'm so nervous because I feel like my responses are more of a personal narrative than a super formal structured essay and I have no idea what admissions is looking for.

Honestly I feel like I did mine the same way ?. Like I didn’t properly format mine in w structured essay I just went to answer the question with multiple different answers. Im not entirely sure what admissions is looking for when it comes to this timed writing. But alll I really know is that they want to see how we answer these random questions under some pressure and the ideas we come up with. So maybe it didn’t have to be properly formatted ??♀️

I do not really know how I should list it - I was born in country A, grew up in country B and came to the US when I was a teen. I have only been to three countries.
Also, I got my application fee waived. But the status is still "awaiting for payment". Is this normal?
I haven’t really traveled much and only been to three countries too. So on mine I just listed the countries and put a brief explanation of what I did in those countries in a bullet point. I did not list any cities in the US but you can do that I believe its all up to us on what we want to put. And It should be normal a thing but if anything you can email admissions and see if they can see the fee waiver on their side.
