hi yall! Wondering if anyone got a formal acceptance or rejection from the Honors program?

Hi there! I was accepted into MDE, super grateful and excited ? was wondering if there's a gc or a thread for accepted students because I'm starting to wonder about housing (any neighborhood recommendations?), as well as how class and clinicals will function with COVID and the vaccine etc.

I went to the info sessions and they said not to do the optional essay or addendum unless there's something important that doesn't fit in other aspects of the app because a lot of time it takes away from ppls apps not adds to it

just wanted to say how thankful I am for this thread and for y’all to be so open and sharing w advice I don’t think any other healthcare profession would be like this and it just speaks to why we all want to be nurses ??

hi y'all just wondering if anyone knows the exact deadline for recomenders? One of mine did not submit yet so I am a little worried, but I did remind them. Also If anyone needs help with any aspect of their application I am almost done with mine so I'd be happy to help ?

Not sure if I’m correct but in the last live session I went to he recommended keeping the addendum to 1 page ?

hi! yes I did that exactly I had 6 hobbies and like one or two sentences elaborating on each one!

just wondering if I’m doing this right but did y’all have a thesis in your personal statement? I know it’s not that type of essay so I just want to make sure bc I don’t have a good writing background Also still have so much to do and so mad at myself for procrastinating ugh good luck to everyone ?

Hi everyone! I was wondering how y'all formatted the travel and hobbies on your resume.. I have travelled with family and wondering how to add that LOL if anyone doesn't mind posting that section of their resume I would greatly appreciate it it just seems awkward to talk about haha Also what size font did you guys use? Hi everyone! Thank you for all the advice! I am enrolling in portage right now to get ahead on my prereqs so I have them all done by February and 2 done by January when they ask for updates on grades. Does anyone know of a less expensive way to take microbio? Portage is asking for 800 and thats a lot ... Idt I qualify for financial aid. Also I went to the info session and they told me since I was a public health major not having prereqs done won't count against me too much. It's getting so close to the deadline!! good luck everyone and thanks again

Hi everyone, I am currently a senior at UCI applying to the 2021MPE cycle. I have a solid GPA (3.7) and work as a MA but I am worried that because I still have three prerequisites to do (anatomy IP) it will hurt my chances. I am also late to all of this as I just started my application a few weeks ago but I have all three recommenders in place and a lot of writing to do. Do you all sound like amazing candidates and are so inspiring I’m so glad I found this thread! I am taking anatomy RN at a cc and plan to finish physiology by February and then Microbio by end of may. Should I take physiology and Microbio sooner on portage? Either way it won’t be done by October 15 ? and other schools won’t take portage
