Hi guys!
I was hoping to get to know some of the people that will be applying to the Spring 12 nursing program.
I've been following the MDC Fall 2011 =) thread and I'm super excited for them, but now I'm even more excited since this time it's finally me who is applying to the nursing program.
So...who else is applying???? :redbeathe
I did my tests in a clinic that mdc recommended. They drawed me some blood for the titters and the drug test. They also tested me for tb and asked me to return in 2 days for the next tb tests. It all took like a week. So i would recommend that clinic to those ho just received their acceptance letter. Oh! and Everything costed 170 including the physical.

Can you please give me the information on where you went, thats a great price. I called a urgent care clinic by my house in plantation and they wanted 388 for everything. Thank you so much!
FYI guys,
I actually have health insurance and I have spent just a little under the cost Yisy stated so $ 170 is a great price.
My co-pay to see my primary was $35 + TB test were $30ea x 2, and then I was not immune to the measels so that vaccine was another $35. + the Hep B vaccine was another $35. BTW, per my Dr. health insurance only covers the cost of vaccines if you are under 18.
Hey guys,
I haven't posted in a while, but the last time I posted we were talking about getting negative titer results. I went to my dr to get the varicella vaccine and I have to go again at the end of the month. A week later, they will redraw my titer and then I will be submitting my results to MDC. I didnt call myself to see what they said when I asked them, but I am going off of the info you guys posted. I asked my doc to write on the form that she administered the vaccine to me so that whoever is working on my form can see that I am in the process of getting my varicella done...
I have insurance and it only costed me the copay. The vaccines and TB tests were all free for me and I am over 18. So I guess it depends on your insurance. I have coventry open HMO.
