MDC Spring 2012 :)

Hi guys!

I was hoping to get to know some of the people that will be applying to the Spring 12 nursing program.

I've been following the MDC Fall 2011 =) thread and I'm super excited for them, but now I'm even more excited since this time it's finally me who is applying to the nursing program.

Yisy great information who would have thought that a simple background check would be so expensive. Education should not have a price.

agreed, its a lot of money we have to spend before even starting school!

It sure is pricey, but just think of it this way: - The total cost of becoming a nurse at MDC is much less than doing it anywhere else, so you're still saving a bunch. - You're putting money into the economy and raising consumer confidence levels...even if you're saying OUCH lol Happy to see we can get a jump on yet another piece of the puzzle, it helps the time pass 80)

Well...my CPR class was cancelled, but I just registered for another one the same day

(Oct 16) at the medical campus! :D

Btw ZeppHead8, I think that is the same class you are in! So maybe I'll see you there! :yeah:

Since this is my fisrt time applying to the program and following these threads I am not to familiar with the procedure that follows after one has been accepted. After reading your post I know that we need the backround check and the CPR class. But, what else is needed and approximatley how long does it takes to get it all done. I am not sure if I will be accepted (78 Teas & GPA 3.8) yet so I have not started preparing. Can someone give me details as to what follows after being accepted and approximate cost inccurred.
