Neyla, don't forget also that there are several different programs, and not all will end up in the program you're going for. Some have applied to several and will choose one, opening up a spot in the other!

Has anyone received an acceptance/denial email yet??? OMG this anticipation really sucks!

For the record, I have a 2.8 science GPA and I got an 80.7 on my TEAS. My magic number is 76.4 so I am really nervous about my chances..anyone else feeling the same?

I doubt that anyone on this thread would have not informed us if they had received and acceptance letter. Hopefully everyone and anyone following our post will let us know when they receive any notification from the program.

With regards to your nerves. I feel just as you do. I check my e-mail a million times a day. I have a science GPA of 3.8 and my Teas score was 78 (not the best score) in know. Although they say this semester is not as competetive as prior ones I am still feeling insecure. You are not the only one feeling anxios, nerves, stressed and desparate. I feel you, but all we can do is wait, and wait and wait. :banghead: Best of luck!

The last time we got our acceptance e-mails, everyone received a call from the nursing school about a week in advance to advise that they'd be going out soon, and to keep an eye out for them. That was the first week in June, back when the deadline was May 1. The first round of acceptance e-mails went out around the 8-12 of June at that point.

I would expect this time around to be the same. While I'd still keep an eye on your e-mail accounts, expect a call from them beforehand!

is that real that they call u?? cause the advisor i did the application with didnt say anything about that!!! I think that lady was retarded!!!

Yes...it was real.

It was the first time decisions were sent out electronically, so I imagine they wanted to make sure everyone was aware. As I said, I don't know if they'll do it again, but based on last semester's timeline, it's still too early for a decision.

Hey Guys,

i wouldn't start freaking about about receiving your emails just yet...

just like ZeppHead8 said, they did call to inform and the letter took a little over a month for them to start sending out letters.. and some people might be in the second round or etc, so try to relax it can take a really long time for every single person to receive a letter. Just so you can get an idea the fall deadline was May 1st.. I didnt receive a letter until August 2nd.

it all depends how many rounds they have to go through, based on how many students accept and deny their seat.

I just passed by to tell you that I registered yesterday for the CPR class

I'm taking it on oct 16 and I'm really excited. You may think that I'm :bugeyes: for doing this before knowing if I was accepted or not, but I like to be a step ahead in my game... so I'm doing it!

I'm taking it at the Hialeah Campus. The class is Sunday, Oct 16 and it last 4 hours, from 9 to 3pm. :)
