MDC Nursing Spring 2019

Nursing Students School Programs

Updated:   Published

To anyone out there....

I had planned to apply for Fall 2018 but I will be finishing my pre reqs on May 1,2018. The exact deadline to apply for Fall. Is anyone in a similar situation? Do you think I should apply anyways?

I would recommend NOVA and try to get into the Baptist program (scholarship), Barry also has it. My person opinion is to avoid BCC if you can. I don't like to give negative comments you can search around for BCC comments. I've heard enough from others about the program that I chose not to go to BCC.

Keisers program is one class every month BUT their tuition is about $7700 a semester approx.

West coast was about $80k for a bachelors I think.

Try FIU, but be sure to study a lot for TEAS they are extremely competitive!

I can't think of any other places I would recommend. You can reader just Florida National College if you would like and Barry University. I just don't know enough about those places to comment.

Good luck!

Thank you so much ********. Somebody told me also to look for Palm Beach college, Broward college, and Florida Key college which is too far from I live. I will search about all this college and those that you mentioned in your post. By the way, what is BCC ?

Broward Community College. I don't go that far north to know Palm Beach College ?

Good Luck!!!

Hi everyone! I just put in my applications for MDC Spring 2019 full time generic and accelerated options. I received an 87.7 on my HESI and so far I have a 4.0 science core gpa. I'm still waiting on my APII lecture and lab grades to come in later this summer... I'm expecting an A and a B (so my gpa might change a little bit.) Do you think I have a decent chance of being accepted?? Thanks in advance ?

Hello Journonurse,

I'm sure you will get accepted to the program, you scored high on the Hesi!

I'm taking the hesi on monday, is there any tip you can give me for the exam?

I'm really nervous and I hope i can score as high as you.

Hello DeltaBravo27, how was your Hesi ? I will do it again on August 17 because I'm not sure if 80 is enough to get accepted. I heard that second one is little more difficult than the first one.

I wasnt able to take past mondya. Im taking it now on this monday august 6. I would like to score 85 and above. any tips you can give me?

Yes. I got pocket prep app, and two version older thant the current hesi book. Give me your email and I'll send you some info very useful that I just got. Moreover, is very useful watching some videos in YouTube on any subject that you don't understand. Good luck !

Depends on how many students are applying for the program. There are 150 seats for the generic program.

Hello everyone

This forum has been pretty quiet for this cycle. I applied for both generic and accelerated with a competitive score of 90. How are everyone's stats this time?

Well, the testing rooms have been full(so people have been testing for the hesi), so even if the forums are quiet it doesn't mean there aren't alot of people applying to the program(there are over 3k views for this forum). Please don't share test questions with friends or classmates, it just make the harder for deserving students to get into the program. Also, make you have your second option ready.

Hi

Do you think I have a chance because my gpa is 3.2 and my hesi score 75
