To anyone out there....
I had planned to apply for Fall 2018 but I will be finishing my pre reqs on May 1,2018. The exact deadline to apply for Fall. Is anyone in a similar situation? Do you think I should apply anyways?

@Shireenk7 Yes, I have looked at the program. I'm more interested in specifics. If you get called, what happens, etc. Insiders stuff that you can't read on the website. lol. I saw there are a few different programs. They have a new A.A. now for MDC. So no need to have pre-req for BSN. I'm close though, I'll need statistics. That's about it, for the BSN. I registered for MicroBiology & lab for Spring. I'll need the Intro to Healthcare & lab also.

Hi! I'm currently on my first semester I applied back in April and we got our acceptance emails July 9 or 10 I can't remember now. If you get accepted you will get an email with a specific date by which you will need to complete background checks drug test medical exams and vaccinations and you will need to have it ready by registration day. You will not be allowed to register yourself you have to be in school to be registered by a nursing school faculty member. You will have an orientation too where they will "explain" rules and that kind of stuff. Good luck to everyone

Oh I see! So once you apply for the scholarship, if they feel like you might be a good candidate, they will call you in for a face to face interview with a panel. The purpose of the interview is to see if they can mold you into Baptist material lol. I have met some of the scholars who said the interview was a piece of cake and others who said it was intimidating. To qualify for the scholarship though, you can only have one class pending; no more. The scholarship is only available for the spring semester. Did you already apply or are you planning on applying in the future?

I applied for OA and Generic full time as well. I would prefer the generic but honestly I just want in! I'm so ready for this.

To qualify for the baptist scholarship you have to have completed the prerequisites for the RN and BSN. Once you're accepted into the program, the advisor will let you know if you can apply. Students that are enrolled in the program will join the classes help at Baptist main and must sign a 3 year contract to work at baptist. The scholarship covers 100% of the tuition.
