Is the community health at type of volunteering? Where did you finally end up? So excited for you. I'm so out of it. I like following the threads but have had time to only study this Summer. Finally coming up for air. LOL

Nice! I'm actually in the Baptist MDC program. But, I get what you're saying about Psych. My friend said the same thing. I'm actually wondering if you can tell me how the program is structured. For example, which class do they have 1st, Peds or OB so I can get that book right away? And you said: "It’s the only semester that you deal with one class PER month (except for community that runs the entire 3 months). The other semesters you have all the classes simultaneously NOT one class a month like in the third semester." Can you explain how this works? Where are you in the process and how are you holding up with the Covid situation?

I still need books and am trying to organize myself for what's ahead for me this fall. Talk to me about 3rd semester, please. I also recommend Tyler DeWitt on YouTube. His style is very easy to follow (he goes from very basic to more advanced concepts) and he has practice sections where you can see the step by step process.

Hi all! I wanted to post a message on my progress. Feel free to do the same. I'm currently taking a Nutrition class at Kendall Campus, studying for the CNA/HESI, planning to start volunteering again at Baptist Hospital (so I can hopefully land a paying job), and slowly going over the Fundamentals material. I did not apply for the MDC Fall program because I plan on applying for the MDC/Baptist Scholars Spring program. I'll take the last required course in the Fall, Statistics. Those who did apply have to wait 4-6 weeks after the application deadline to hear back. Sooo...How is everyone doing? Are you starting to read the Fundamentals book or taking a few weeks to enjoy with your family before the mayhem begins? Patiently waiting, or starting to panic? Feel free to post updates!
