Does anyone know if they look at cumulative GPA or combined cumulative GPA?

I will answer my own question as I emailed an advisor and they clarified. IF you have transfer credits from another college:
The cumulative/overall grade point average required to apply is 2.5. From the unofficial transcript, the GPA would be the combined which is combined of grades earned at MDC with any grades transferred to MDC.
Now that that is cleared up. Has anyone taken the TEAS and have any tips?

I’m finding it so hard to navigate applying for this program with all the changes and the school being pretty much closed.
looks like I need to retake my chem in order to apply for the January term. I’ll be taking it during the next term which is on July 13th, and taking my TEAS on July 15th. Hopefully have everything completed to apply by September 1st.

Selection is currently based on Cumulative GPA, Natural Science GPA, and Composite Entrance Exam Score of 60% or higher. Note the Cumulative GPA, Natural Science GPA, and ATI scores will be weighted at 33.333% in the calculation of the student’s ranking for admission.
I just applied for the generic full time nursing program in August.

My advice would be to study the hell out of the science section!
I aced both A&P 1+2. But that science portion killed my score.
Hope that helps.

Hello,
I am currently looking into programs in Miami and came across Miami-Dade College. I have my bachelors in psychology and am taking my prerequisites at the moment to apply to an accelerated program.
Any information, suggests, or experiences would be very much appreciated!
I am hoping to relocate to Miami for personal/professional reasons, but would like some insight on their program.

Hey everyone,
I am applying for the Transitional FT program for the Spring. I'm currently a registered respiratory therapist. I haven't scheduled my TEAS exam date yet but will do so in the following week. Has anyone taken/registered for the nursing skills update course? I think I'll need to take it in the beginning of the fall semester. If anyone else is applying for the same program, please let me know. Best of luck to everyone!

I am wanting to apply for the MDC RN program for Spring 2021, I finish my pre reqs this term. I have a question because Im and LPN so I was going to do the transitional part time or even the generic part time. But my issue is the schedule, I just got hired at an urgent care as a full time float meaning my schedule would be varied anywhere from 730am - 11pm. Does anybody have any advice on if they will help accommodate so far I've read there is no accommodations. thanks in advance

Unfortunatly they are extreamly strict on thier scheduling and they pick it for you, you may have to look into part time but even then may be difficult you may have to apptoach your enployer for that case .. sorry I cabt give a deffinient answer you can try emailing medical avisement
