It was because of the science section mainly. It is tricky. I watched kaan academy videos, and brandon kraft for math. Also used the mometrix yellow book and purchased the ATI practice tests. My pactice tests were at 84% and my score on the actual TEAS was 87.3%

Hey!

I was told I needed to take the nursing skills update course but the Summer B one just started. The only one I see available in the fall is in October. Has anyone taken this course or needs to still?

Hey guys! I applied for the Spring 2021 FT and part time program! Anyone who already applied get an acceptance letter yet? I’m so anxious and check my emails every 5 minutes like a maniac!

They don’t send the acceptance letters right away. The deadline is sept 1. So they’ll start sending letters in October.

Does anyone know if you can apply for program if you have a couple of pre-reps left but you registered for those classes in the fall? The deadline is Sep 1, but I just need AP II and lab.

You have to have all your pre reqs done when you submit your application. You’d have to apply for the Summer or fall.

I think if you have a CPR card, a medical profession, or took it already. I took it already. I read it somewhere on MDC website.

Perfect! Thanks! I’ve been trying to look on the website. Maybe it’s in the catalog. I’m a phlebotomist and have taken CPR,PALS,BLS, etc.

I have already applied to both the Accelerated and Generic programs but the nerves are getting to me. I am hoping to get into the accelerated program for the Spring. I’ve heard that at times it can be competitive but also not competitive. Just trying to gage what are everyone’s stats to soothe my nerves. I have a Com GPA of 3.61, Science GPA of 3.33 and a TEAS of 84.
