MCC nursing applicants for 2015

Hello everyone!

I've been obsessively reading over the threads for the 2013 and 2014 applicants, but I thought I'd see if anyone will be applying to the Nursing program at Macomb Community College for 2015. I am a transfer student from Texas and will be taking A&P this summer then intro to Nursing (since MCC requires that you take their specific course) and micro in the Fall. I'm so excited to get back into school and was wondering if anyone is following along the same timeline.:up:

Well the 182, (22nd alternate) has a 3.6 and 82 on the Hesi. So our top 60 would be higher. I have a 3.93 and 84 Hesi and I don't even think I'm in the top 60.

I know. That's why I wanted to know. So I can compare it to my scores. Haha

Well two years ago I was #53 with a 3.9 and a 91 Hesi. Yeah I know that's two years ago but hey.

I can relate to searching this website NONSTOP while waiting for the letters 😁😁😁

Oh yeah of course. I know of someone ranked 70 that started in August. Some people decide not to do it or decide to start later.

That's really great scores.

I have a 4.0/88 ...

The wait is horrible.

@Dontstop, that's what I meant. I was just trying to see the possibility of starting in August. But that's 30 people! That's good to know, thank you!

@Rntobe, those are great scores! You would of got in Macomb for sure. You should have no problem getting into your program. Good luck!

My best advice is to ALWAYS be available to start soon. They were calling people the DAY before we started in August to fill a spot. They called all the way to March starts. So just get all of your books and supplies because if you are called to start early you would be able to!

Yeah from the beginning I think up to 55 KNEW right away they were starting in August.

Hey guys this is DEANNA AGAIN LOL. Seeing that number 70 got bumped up 30 position one year gives me hope as a alternative. Lol can't wait till orientation. To hear more details.... for alternatives we have to play the waiting. Game alllllll over again lol

How many alternates are there? I thought there were only 40?
