MCC nursing applicants for 2015

Published

Hello everyone!

I've been obsessively reading over the threads for the 2013 and 2014 applicants, but I thought I'd see if anyone will be applying to the Nursing program at Macomb Community College for 2015. I am a transfer student from Texas and will be taking A&P this summer then intro to Nursing (since MCC requires that you take their specific course) and micro in the Fall. I'm so excited to get back into school and was wondering if anyone is following along the same timeline.

GPA 3.7 and HESI 92.....fingers crossed

If any of you were interested in a quick acceptance to a nursing school; call chamberlain school of nursing. It's in Troy. Apparently they do almost an immediate acceptance due to it being higher cost. Also if you work for Beaumont hospital they do 20% off due to the partnership.

August start would graduate May 2017

October start - October 2017

January start- December 2017

March start - March 2018

Actual commencement is only held in May and December so March and October starts would walk a couple months after they were already done if they wanted to go to commencement.

Does anyone know when the graduation dates would be if you started in say October?

You wound finish school by October and graduate in December:)

Does anybody know how many people applied last year and how many were ranked?

375 applied this year so I was jw

Hello all,

I am new on here and applying for 2015. Fingers Crossed!

Can anyone tell me how many people applied last year (2014)?

From what I've been reading, around 335 got ranked and a little over 400 applied. What are you applying with?

Did you call and ask how many applied??

Did anyone receive a letter that states your GPA and HESI score you are applying with? I know there was some discussion of this, but I never received a letter - so I was just wondering if anyone else did. Thanks!
