MCC nursing applicants for 2015

Published

Hello everyone!

I've been obsessively reading over the threads for the 2013 and 2014 applicants, but I thought I'd see if anyone will be applying to the Nursing program at Macomb Community College for 2015. I am a transfer student from Texas and will be taking A&P this summer then intro to Nursing (since MCC requires that you take their specific course) and micro in the Fall. I'm so excited to get back into school and was wondering if anyone is following along the same timeline.

I know I comment a lot but I'm on here almost every day following a thread for my BSN 😂. I would recommend a math and a chemistry class if you are continuing on for your bachelors and masters, but it doesn't have to be before the program. The math in the program is simple multiplication and chemistry doesn't hold much value at all. Anything you need to know is taught during the program. I am taking a math and a chemistry but not until after I'm done with my associates.

should be a 4.0 gpa/94 hesi. haven't gotten the letter to confirm that yet though. :)

Wow congrats! Do you know anyone else applying??

I'm applying with a 3.9 and 86 on hesi. My class avg for hesi was only 82.

That's awesome! My class average was an 81 I believe. Do you know of any other gpas or hesis other than the people who posted on here? I'm trying to get an idea :(

no, i don't know anybody else's scores - sorry.

oh, forgot. thank you! :)

I applied with a 3.61 and 87 hesi I'm sooo scared I won't get in :(

you may be just fine. from what i gather, the # of applicants may be down this year. we'll have to see. think positive thoughts!

Well the good thing is that my scores and lower got in the past few years. I hope this year will be the same!

Does anyone know when the graduation dates would be if you started in say October?

You would finish in May I beleive.
