MCC nursing applicants for 2015

Published

Hello everyone!

I've been obsessively reading over the threads for the 2013 and 2014 applicants, but I thought I'd see if anyone will be applying to the Nursing program at Macomb Community College for 2015. I am a transfer student from Texas and will be taking A&P this summer then intro to Nursing (since MCC requires that you take their specific course) and micro in the Fall. I'm so excited to get back into school and was wondering if anyone is following along the same timeline.

Hi everyone!!! I love this site it has made so many questions understandable from our point of view. I have been lurking on this site forever! I took my hesi on jan 8th. I studied my ass off, I got an 87 ".2!";) I am dying to know if I will get in. Almost scared to hear if i do! My class average was an 81.6 or 81. -something

Everything happens for a reason!!! We shal see... Ahhh!

Using the last 4 digits of your soc when it comes to a tie?! What!! How is that any fair :/

There's also a new page on Facebook to buy & sell nursing books "Macomb community college student nurse resale"

5555, thats awesome! Literally we have the same hesi scores haha. Whays your gpa?

Like i said the last 4 digits of the soc is just something i read on the threads from previous years. No clue if it's true or not but they have to have some way to do it because i'm sure there are a ton of ties. I agree it wouldn't be fair because our soc isn't something we can control.

I really doubt its the last 4 digits of ssn. It has nothing to do with our grades.

Hi mperczi! I have a 3.93...after retaking classes! What is yours. I hope we all get in because this obviously means the world to all of us:writing:

3.61 gpa, hopefully I will be ok

Maybe we will be in the same class. Fingers crossed for all of us!!!!!

I think you will be okay:yes: it seems like the grades are lower for everyone on the hesi. Maybe its harder this year. Does anyone have any input on whether it is harder this year??

Well, this was the first time taking it for me. I wasn't sure what to expect, but I felt prepared before I went in there. I felt like I studied enough, but I felt like everything I studied besides vocab, wasn't even on there. I received an 84. I was very disappointed in myself.
