MCC nursing applicants for 2015

Published

Hello everyone!

I've been obsessively reading over the threads for the 2013 and 2014 applicants, but I thought I'd see if anyone will be applying to the Nursing program at Macomb Community College for 2015. I am a transfer student from Texas and will be taking A&P this summer then intro to Nursing (since MCC requires that you take their specific course) and micro in the Fall. I'm so excited to get back into school and was wondering if anyone is following along the same timeline.

I know nice to talk to everyone else! Are you applying this year?

I agree. This site really helped me actually. I think many people (I would be too) are clueless as to what it takes to get in the program. I wanted to get in my first year, so I made sure I boosted up my GPA. I'm still nervous about the HESI!

hii everyoneee :). my name is narmin and am taking the hesi exam on 01.06 any hints or ideas where to focus on the most???

and I heard we can only use the calculator on the adding and subtracting part? is that true?

No not true u are giving a basic calculator the same one thats on your computer u can use it forr anything thatvu may find helpful does anybody want to meet once a week in a study group until our jan test dates I think I could benefit as well as help others in areas im strong in send me a email deanna.thomas16 and its yahoo thanx hope to hear from some one

Hi everybody, I'm new on this site. I'm having Hesi on Jan. 6th and I am super nervous. I'll just pray and keep my fingers crossed that all of us do good and get accepted into a program:)))

Keeping our fingers crossed! What gpa will you be applying with Anela?

I will be applying with 3.8 GPA

Hi everyone! I have just finished the first 8 weeks of mcc's nursing program. I started back and October, and so far I am loving it.

Don't worry, you will be okay! Don't give up!

I wasn't accepted on the first time around, so I retook a few classes and the hesi. Thank God, I got in!

Study hard, keep trying, stay strong :)

I applied with 4.0/84 hesi.

I love the program. I have learned so much and I also have met wonderful people.

I hope I get to see you all around campus next year!

God bless!

Let me know if you have any question. :)

Thank you for sharing your experiences!! I will be applying with a 3.61 so im really relying on my hesi. Do you have any advice for taking it?

Well, the first time I took the hesi my lowest score was on the vocabulary part.. So make sure to go over those. There's a vocabulary list available on the hesi study guide.

Finally finished the semester! I will be applying with a 3.93! So happy! Now just waiting to see the HESI results. Good luck everyone!

Good luck everyone. I waited until the last minute to schedule the Hesi testing and now they're full but good luck to you all this year!!
