Mayo Clinic Nurse Residency (Az) February 2022

Published

Hey, everyone. I know it's pretty early, but I have had my eye on the Mayo Clinic Nurse Residency program in Arizona for a while. I will be graduating in December and plan on applying to their February 2022 cohort. I have seen other threads from previous cohorts that keep up with the process, information, and support each other along the way.

If you are interested in applying to this program, this thread is for you!

About me: I am from out of state, which is why I am pretty anxious to hear more information on the program. I would love to do critical care. I have not seen the residency program posted on the job board yet, so hopefully, we can keep each other updated.

Good luck to all of you!

@RN_Est.21 I am planning on returning home and apply for an AZ nursing license. What about you?

@cpierce4 Same, I’m moving back right after graduation. I have some questions about the process for AZ, maybe we could connect via email?

Hi everyone! I'm hoping someone here can answer some questions I have about this residency program. To apply I need to have a resume and transcript at minimum available to upload, correct? Is there anywhere else that has more detailed information? The phone hotline said the applications open Sept. 28 and close the 30th, so I just want to make sure I haven't missed anything important....

Thank you all!

Thanks for dropping these dates! And I would definitely include a cover letter to help bring more appeal to your application ?

Also, did anybody else see they updated the website and kinda freak out? LOL

Do you mean how there’s less info then before? Haha yes I was wondering what happened, but the hotline message is updated!

Nice to meet everyone! It's crazy to think about that we could potentially work together in a few months, especially since so many of us are coming from out of state ? Does anyone know the name of the hiring manager? My professors tell me that this is super important when writing a cover letter, but I can't seem to find it.

Its past midnight here in Florida and the job posting just says the recruiter's name. I agree that the hiring manager's name would look best!

Also, kinda bummed to see that there is no relocation assistance ? I know they have offered it previously and other hospitals offer it too.

Has anyone tried submitting the application? I can’t get past a certain point.

I can't get past a certain point either. Was wondering if it had to do with the high volume of applications they are probably receiving

I don't know why but the job posting isn't pulling up for me. Is there anyone who could share the link please? :)

I'm only able to complete 33% of my application.
