Mayo Clinic Externship 2016 (Summer III)

The Mayo Clinic Summer III application was just opened, so I figured I would start a thread and see if anyone else is planning to apply? It is open until January 2016, so feel free to hop in and comment anytime!

Wow I just found this thread. I submitted last day Jan 15 and got an email 3 hours ago asking for transcripts and placement too! This is exciting.

I got this email also! DO you think this could mean we made it?

I think it means that we still have a chance and that they will continue to review our applications, transcripts and interest inventory forms. I would really like to know how many people they have narrowed it down to/ how many people applied. I am nervous!!

I received an email today saying I was not offered a spot, however it did say they got over 1,000 applications and are selecting only 50. Good luck to those of you proceeding!

Just found out they currently have it narrowed down to 100, which will later be narrowed down to the 50 who will be selected.

I also got the email, I also saw my application status was changed to "interview". I'm so excited and hoping for the best! good luck to everyone!!

I know the email said By Feb. 15th... but do you think we will find out sooner? I am more nervous now than I was when I orgiannlyl applied...

oh my! how did you find out how many candidates it was narrowed down to?

Did anyone that had to send in the additional info get a confirmation email? I'm worried that they somehow didn't get mine!
