Mayo Clinic Externship 2016 (Summer III)

The Mayo Clinic Summer III application was just opened, so I figured I would start a thread and see if anyone else is planning to apply? It is open until January 2016, so feel free to hop in and comment anytime!

Huh, I wonder why they sent out the email saying "Following the review process the hiring manager will select individuals to interview. If you are selected we will contact you to schedule an interview." I mean that's fine by me, I wasn't sure how I was going to schedule an interview sometime between 2/4 and 2/15 anyway. That's good to know, thanks guys

I'm guessing it's a generic/automatic email that sends out to everyone when they switch them to "interview" status on the website.

Is there anyone else who hasn't gotten any emails from Mayo since applying? Because the only email I have received is my confirmation of applying, but I have not gotten anything since...

And nobody contacted you about sending in your preferences and a copy of your transcripts?

Yeah, well I submitted my transcripts as a part of my application, but they haven't contacted me about preferences or anything like that. I'm hoping that's not a bad sign...

I feel the same way! Its like applying for nursing school all over again. I already have a heart attack each time I get an email.

does anyone know if they will notify which unit we are on (if we are chosen) on Friday as well?
