...as we head into one of the hardest weeks of the year... The last few days before Winter Break.

When Junior High kids turn into 5 year olds...

When 3rd graders are dealing with their waivering belief in a mystical being bringing toys throughout the world...

When High Schoolers are stressing over finals...

When Teachers have had more than enough and are letting students come to the health office for any minor and/or imagined thing...

When everyone who hands out gifts to school personnel forgets that the nurse exists...

May the spirit of the season stay strong!! Just a few days left and then a couple weeks off (what I feel confident saying is one of the biggest perks of this job!!)

Love you all and our own little corner of AN!!

Some of these comments got me rolling in this office!!! One more day for me yay!!! And I received 3 gifts so far...HAVE A SAFE AND WONDERFUL HOLIDAYS AND REMEMBER YOU GUYS ROCK!!

Today has been A DAY! We had a serious fainter, a fake allergic reaction, a real allergic reaction, a kid who got poked in the eyes, I found out one of my littles is in ICU, and one of our staff member's precious chubby little babe is in the hospital too. Is it a full moon or just a full day before winter break?

Oh my! Thinking of your littles! Even the fakers because it's Christmas.

We got the BEST Christmas gift from one of our students. We often work night shift and come in to cover here. We are often tired and lots of students have caught us "resting our eyes". This student brought us a neck pillow so we can rest comfortably. Love the thought and concern in picking this out.

That's so sweet! It feel so special when you can tell thought went into a gift :)

I am pregnant so I am a little emotionally right now. But a student I see twice a day to give medication, assigned her point person, and always make sure she has a green mint after lunch...... she comes to me with gifts for the principals, school psych, and counselor and asks me where they are since none of them are in the office. Guess what I got .. nothing .... no more green mints for her!
