Hello everyone!
I took the NCLEX on May 21, 2008. Test stopped at 85 q...On May 22 I flew to Perto Rico for a long weekend to get away from all that stress!!! While I was there I checked my result and I passssed!!! Advice to everyone- Kaplan test prep course rocks!!! I took NCLEX first time and I passed. I graduated Nursing School 15 years ago in Ukraine.

Oh man I did the same as you. I took the test for the first time as well on May 24th, and flew to Florida yesterday. I checked the BRN website and I passed! :eek: I was brought to tears! Now I can really enjoy my vacation here. Kaplan is a really helpful supplement for studying in my opinion. Congratulations to everyone that passed :yeah: and good luck to everyone who have yet to take it as May concludes, walk in there feeling positive and do your best... and for those of you who are waiting for results still... stay positive and don't give up! :up:

thanks a lot lendledave...

i had just taken the nclex-rn. i was scheduled 3pm today..i reached until 5 hours & 51 minutes. computer stopped at 265..maximum!

i was the last one who left the testing area. when i was about to go out, the proctor stopped me to take my fingerprint. she also asked for my name. by that time, i was looking at the computer that she was operating on. i was planning to point out my name on the computer that's why i looked at it. i saw a chart, it says there "failed" on the same row as my name. the name next to me also has a "failed" sign, the third one has "passed".

the second time i looked at the computer right after i had my fingerprint, i didn't see the passed & failed thing anymore, but rather another column. i guess the chart that i saw the first time i looked at it was just scrolled sideways to see my whole name.

at first, i was so much in denial that i told myself that i was just hallucinating & all after what i saw. however, as i arrived home, i read the pamphlet given before the exam in the test center. there was a part there which says, "how are the results processed?" which was answered by, "as part of the quality control process, every nclex examination is scored twice: once by the computer at the test center and then the result is verified after the examination had been transmitted to pearson vue."

..the latter made me feel so depressed... :banghead:

Jon, Since I took the NCLEX-PN I have to wait for results in the mail. LVN"s are not even posted on the web like RN's are.

Only one person in my class got her results in 3 weeks and she was the first person to test. Others had to wait 4 weeks and some a few days more. One person had to wait 5 weeks. Since I tested on May 9th the earliest my letter would come in the mail would be May 30th or after. I will most likely get my letter in the mail 1st -2nd week of June.

Thanks for asking :) When I do get my results I am going to come back here to this thread and post it!

I took my NCLEX-RN on Thursday last week for the first time. I graduated in December 2007, so I waited a long time before I tested. I had 130 questions. 11 SATA, 3 med calcs, and mostly priority and delegation. I was so sure I failed after I left the testing center, but doesn't everybody? I pretty much partied all weekend to get my mind off of it. LOL

Anyway, I logged on today to see if my results were posted.

I PASSED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I stared at the screen for a minute in disbelief and then started shaking and almost started crying. It was like a weight was lifted off my shoulders. I am sooooooo happy, but yet I am so scared because I have never had any kind of medical job and now I am an RN. o.o

Really ?? i didnt know that about the PN test, ?? there is no "website" you can check ??--man, that bites--here i am complaining about the BRN website...so you have to wait for the mail ..uugghh...

please keep us posted, you have been an inspiration to us all--we all hope you get good news , and SOON :)

There is a website for licensed vocational nurses just like for RN's but they don't post your license number until after you have your real license! They post the RN ones right away. My school explained it to us but I think that is it in a nutshell.

hey guys..howdy? sorry..it's been like a week, since the last time i visit..or post. busy..busy..im on my training! congratulations to those who passed..and for us who weren't able to make it this time..we'll still be future rn's:nurse: i won't tell you don't feel depressed or anything (cause i know for sure how it feels) spend the day relaxing/resting, cry as much as you want to. let it out! then think (optimistic) what you could do..and be decisive. i kept telling myself that..until i had to faced the nclex again. life goes on. and all of you guys here are right! yeah..the spirit's up! and for those still waiting for the result..hang on..and do visit the thread..as much as you can.
