apparently, ive been waiting for other people to start a support group for may nclex takers.....but no....so here i am.....

im taking my nclex on the 7th of may...hopefully, i pass this time. im tired of living a non-RN life......

Took the boards yesterday and failed. Really down in the dumps. Sister passed everyone knows so constant reminder of my ordeal. Need help. Looking to do Suzanne's plan but can't figure out how to email.

so i took the tes today! i'm was soooooo shocked to see q's keep popping on the screen:cry:..i was like"god please let this comp shut off soo, b/c i don't think i can take the whole 265qs" so guess what? i went all the way to 265:no:..i had more than 10 sata's and like 7 calculations and tons of prio/ del..

i just dont' know what to think you guys..i'm just gonna wait for my results..hoping that i pass!.. well may family has been there for me the whole time..i don't want to me the one who breaks the passing streak(don't want anyone to be that person for that matter)..

i'm not even depressed or anxious or anything..yet..:stone

i'll let you guys know..i'm gonna go take a nap..my allergies are really bad..

keep praying for each other guys..we really need it..:bow:

1st of all, let me say that i don't post alot onthe site.But i'm always here reading everyones post.I just wanted to say "CONGRATS to all the new R.N. " in the MAY nclex study group. And Good Luck to all the rest of US who will be testing inthe month of MAY. GOD has been GOOD alot of us are PASSing the NCLEX, this month and I will be praying for the rest of US and other's that we will beat the NCLEX. GOOD LUCK &GOD Bless the MAY NCLEX TAKERS...........:yeah:

I like the stats--anytime you get lots of S.A.T.A is good, and i always like to see ..."tons of priority" questions--even if you get some wrong, the fact is you answered enough "lower" level questions to get to the upper level--on my test-everytime i would see a S.A.T.A or priority--i actually felt better-even though they are ahrder questions--i knew i was doing ok.

Yes, definitely good luck to everyone else--i keep checking on here (daily) to see more people receiving good news AND to encourage those who do not.-

I am SOOO anti-NCLEX that every person that passes--it makes me smile that much more.

sorry to hear that grad69. in what state were you, you've got an instant access for the result? try to relax for a couple of weeks, then be decisive on what plan you want to do after. don't give up. :)

After 6 hours of heparin therapy, the client's partial thromboplastin time is subtherapeutic. The physician orders an increase in the infusion to 800 U/hour. The nurse should set the infusion pump to deliver how many milliliters per hour?

Please answer this....and show me the calculation.

i'll approach it like this:

stock: 25,000 u/250 ml

order: 800 u/hour

d/s x q

800/25,000 x 250 = 8 ml/hr

or 25,000 u/250ml = 100 u/ml

800 u/hr divided by 100 u/ml = 8 ml

may i know the answer that you got?
