May Nclex takers...come and join hands...

apparently, ive been waiting for other people to start a support group for may nclex takers.....but no....so here i am.....
im taking my nclex on the 7th of may...hopefully, i pass this time. im tired of living a non-RN life......

hi, what do you guys used for reviewong nclex rn. Which one is better saunders or kaplan Q bank?

I am a nurse too 7 years and i studed in Israel i PICU NURSE english my 3 th languge maybe i need to stady more i did whole saunders include cd and lippincote i don't know wnat to do
sametimes i feel stuped

you are not stupid..that for sure!

to make a profesion like this in your second language it is realy hard...

i did sounders too,was the best for me but i also got some more information in lippincot(manual of practice nurses) i have a mosby"s nurses dictionary wich was very good with a lot of pictures!

and ...beseade this i have a lot of books just with question..i did a lot...a lot..this is the secret...some days i had more than 500 questions..houres after houres about 10 months..everyday...

sometime i got 95% procent ...but i was looking for difficult question...

are you prepare for RN?..or LPN?

for the review ..saunders(silvestri) it is the best..but the question thre are so easy!

for the question.????..mosby"s(saxon) there are so hard questions.!!!!.and 3500 or 4000 lippincot cd....very...very hard...you have to know every singuel word in the book to be alble to answer at those questions!

try this and tell me after how was?

hi missmykids! did you schedule your test already? i'm testing july 1! i originally planned it to be this month but had to move it for so many reasons..
so i'm a july test taker, but i just luv this may group a lot! i feel like my day's not complete without checking this thread...everyone's just sooo nice & supportive!

i feel like this too. i have to check this thread every day!

hey lets copy the name list and if you got your rn put a little nurse icon next to your name! :) wish i knew my results sooner!

hi guys, I just signed up to the site. I've been viewing this thread as a guest. I'm a May test-taker too but I was too scared to pour my heart out here while preparing. I felt like I'll just get myself more nervous if I keep on reading about everyone being nervous, too...

well anyway, I took the exam (May 1) and guess what? I passed it!!! last time I checked the computer it was on 167 or something. My friends passed the test, only getting 75 so I really got stressed when I was on the 100th question... I remember Kaplan tipping us about staying calm throughout the test. The book said that as long as you're receiving questions, you haven't failed. I just did my best. Squeezed everything outta my brain... Whew... my brain's mush now but at least i'm already an RN!!! yey! :nurse: :yeah:

by the way, i got 25+ SATA questions, too. i kept praying they'd stop but they just kept on coming. a lot of prioritizations, too. interventions, etc

UGHHHHH the FBI rejected my fingerprints, saying something like "Unclear on the reasons for getting fingerprinted" He-llo....ever hear of the fact that the State Nursing Board requires it????
