My question is - What is the process they need to do in order to become a Nurse Practitioner here in Colorado? Do they need to go through CGFNS to get their credentials transfered or is there another route ? Thanks for your Information !!!

Hello all: I live in the Denver Colorado area, at present I am an LPN now for a little more than 3 months! My question is concerning these on line courses:typing LPN to BSN University of Pheonix in my area ! I work full time and would like to have imput into all angles of these courses including price and how it all works with working 5 days 40 hour week. I would really like to continue my way to be an RN now ! Thank You for all the help you can give me !!!:redbeathe Marieta

YES..THIS IS TRUE.. I ALREADY ASKED MY COLLEGES(LPN"S) ..THEY WERE EDUCATED HERE,AND THEY DONT HAVE ONE H CLINICAL IN PSYCHE...AND THEY DONT NEEDED..BUT MEYBE JUST ME...THE ONLY ONE..MY EDUCATION WAS IN ROMANIA AND MY EXPERIENCE(26 YEAR WORKING IN HOSPITAL...THREE YEARS IN PHSYCHE AND THE LAST TEN YEARS IN EMERGENCI UNIT(CARDIOLOGY) DOESNT COUNT HERE(WHO CARE?)...AND NOW I HAVE TO DEAL WITH ALL THIS RED TAPE...AFTER I PASS MY NCLEX-PN(FIRST TRY....FIRST PASS.. ...ANYWAY THANKS SO MUCH FOR YOUR TIME!...:redbeathe MARIETA

Hello: I am from Romania, I got all my papers from cgfns taken care of, The Colorado Board of Nursing said I had enough credit hours to take the NCLEX exam for LPN - they gave me My ATT and I took the test on May 21,2008 - I Passed the exam, now waiting for my license, yesterday a woman called me from The Colorado Board of Nursing and said I need to have clinical for Psychiatric, it is my understanding that this is not offered any place for LPN and I don't need it for my LPN license ( only for RN ) I am totaly confused now ! Can anybody help me with this problem ? Thanks Marieta

I HAD MY SHOOL IN ROMAMIA 30 YEARS AGO,I GOT MY CREDENTIAL FROM CGFNS,BUT I STUDY A LOT AND I DID MORE THAN 20,000 EX FOR THIS EXAM..I AM 50 YEAR OLD...NEXT YEAR! TRUST IN YOUR-SELF...PLEASE...ND STUDY HARD!

I TOOK MY NCLEX PN TODAY TOO...FOR THE FIRST TIME.. I HAD 85 Q AND I DONT KNOW IF I PASS OR NOT..THAT"S ALL!:redbeathe

for the review ..saunders(silvestri) it is the best..but the question thre are so easy! for the question.????..mosby"s(saxon) there are so hard questions.!!!!.and 3500 or 4000 lippincot cd....very...very hard...you have to know every singuel word in the book to be alble to answer at those questions! try this and tell me after how was? this is my advice!all the best for you! you are not stupid..that for sure! to make a profesion like this in your second language it is realy hard... i did sounders too,was the best for me but i also got some more information in lippincot(manual of practice nurses) i have a mosby"s nurses dictionary wich was very good with a lot of pictures! and ...beseade this i have a lot of books just with question..i did a lot...a lot..this is the secret...some days i had more than 500 questions..houres after houres about 10 months..everyday... sometime i got 95% procent ...but i was looking for difficult question... are you prepare for RN?..or LPN? give me your e-mail addresse and i will send you a lot of information!

can be good...or maybe you have to work more? who knows?..some time it is about luck....only luck... myself?..i did more then 20,000 exe...lippincot..mosbys..saunders..cram exam..delmar...but i stiil have som problems with pharmacologie and alternative question...but i had my school in Romania...more time ago and now i try to do the best i can..english it is my second language... my experrience helps me a lot..i was a nurse in my country 26 years! good luck to you..all he best!
