Welcome May NCLEX-RN Overcomers, First let us start with a prayer.

O God in heaven, we commit ourselves unto thee and pray you bless us in your infinite kindness and grace. We commit the NCLEX-RN exam unto your hand and we pray you give us the knowledge, wisdom, understanding and retentive memory to pass this exam. We pray you see through our studying, memorizing and question answering. In your grace, let us pass this exam and give thanks to you.

AMEN.

Support Plan:

Step 1: Change your username (recommended usernames "ICanDoIt" "GonnaPass" IfAtFirstIdontsucceed...", etc)

Step 2: Try again

It is not the end of the world. I apparently passed and also felt horrible during parts of the test and even after. I remember thinking and feeling that I did not and would not want to take that test ever again, but I also knew that had that happened that I would have gotten myself back up to try it again. We have all worked too hard and come too far to give up!

Tested at 8am 248 questions, 2 hrs good popup at 12pm

LOTS of priority questions (which pt would u see first) 2 med calcs, 1 exhibit, 10 SATA. Good popup is about the pearson vue trick, it means you passed and I did it two hours after my test ended. There are many threads about it on here.

I just finished taking my exam today. Stopped at 75 questions. i also had 10 SATA, 2 medication calculations, infection control, psych questions/scenarios, quite a few endocrine and a few meds I did not know. I hope I passed. I dont want to study anymore and I want my life back!! :( ::crossing fingers::

congratulation on finishing the biggest nightmare and getting back your life. I am very bad with SATA questions any tricks you would suggest to do them? anyone can suggest. help me plz. also with the meds did u memorize the mane of the meds or it is something that you can get it from reading the queestion itself? mine is next week need some help. also the med calculations wht kind of questions were there? help me with posting the med formulas and kind of med calc questions tht u got.:nurse:

I the way I answered sata was by looking at each answer as if it were a true false question and doing practice questions over and over.

This is how I studied:

Kaplan (thin book) for test taking strategy

Saunders for content: read from cover to cover

Lacharity: for practice on answering priorty and delegation questions.

Practice cd's used: saunders cd, ncsbn online, nclex 4000. I did about 1500 questions.

Memorized lab values

Memorized infection control precaution.

I rescheduled at least 5 times until I noticed my practice scores were in the upper 70's -80's.

Good luck to you....good luck to us all!
