Welcome May NCLEX-RN Overcomers, First let us start with a prayer.

O God in heaven, we commit ourselves unto thee and pray you bless us in your infinite kindness and grace. We commit the NCLEX-RN exam unto your hand and we pray you give us the knowledge, wisdom, understanding and retentive memory to pass this exam. We pray you see through our studying, memorizing and question answering. In your grace, let us pass this exam and give thanks to you.

AMEN.

Welcome again people, In the month of May, we are going to overcome the NCLEX. This thread is to share study tips, encouragement, motivation and anything that will help us to succeed the exam. Let's study hard and believe. I am currently using Saunders for content, LaCharity and Kaplan strategies. Please feel free to share your advice, study tips, etc. Good Luck everyone, the month of May is our month and we will Pass!!!

Hi Anijah, did you or known of anyone whom has puchased any of their products?

No. but from the looks of it the materials thats offered is good information. However, there are some links that are down which leaves me actually skeptical. I just went over the material on the website...the free links that were offered. These are really good nclex type questions.. try them:nurse::nurse:

I am currently using Exam Cram for practice questions, but it appears they have a lot of typos. I haven't even looked through meds or lab values! The days are going by so fast

I noticed all the typos in Exam Cram also! that is what I am currently doing also along with over viewing medications (my weakness) WELL THE COUNT DOWN I TAKE MY EXAM THIS SATURDAY! getting a little nervous.

Review materials and resources used:

ATI through school - their predictors rated me at 97%

3 Day ATI live review at school post graduation

LWW NCLEX Review 4000 computer program

Lippincott's Alternative-format questions book and website

REA NCLEX Interactive Flashcards book

I took combinations of practice tests and instant feedback questions, reviewed specific areas that I knew I needed, read rationales to all answers.

I felt fairly well-prepared for the test going into it, but I am a believer that you have to go ahead and do it if you are fairly confident with your knowledge and critical thinking. I don't think it is possible to be totally ready for anything like this. There were quite a few questions that I was unsure of and it took quite a while for me to get through the test (3 hours for 75 questions!). I was ok with that as I was routinely among the last finished with tests throughout nursing school. I was very relieved that the test ended at 75 though, because at my rate I would have never have made it to 265!

Thanks for the info, Congrats again!
