Welcome May NCLEX-RN Overcomers, First let us start with a prayer.

O God in heaven, we commit ourselves unto thee and pray you bless us in your infinite kindness and grace. We commit the NCLEX-RN exam unto your hand and we pray you give us the knowledge, wisdom, understanding and retentive memory to pass this exam. We pray you see through our studying, memorizing and question answering. In your grace, let us pass this exam and give thanks to you.

AMEN.

Welcome again people, In the month of May, we are going to overcome the NCLEX. This thread is to share study tips, encouragement, motivation and anything that will help us to succeed the exam. Let's study hard and believe. I am currently using Saunders for content, LaCharity and Kaplan strategies. Please feel free to share your advice, study tips, etc. Good Luck everyone, the month of May is our month and we will Pass!!!

Just to let you know the pvt worked for me...i passed!!!

just do questions after questions! don't study content. only study basics like medication suffixes and lab values

chilly4563, i pm u can u pls get to me...thanks in advance!!!!!!!!!!!!

What advice would you give to study? Im proud of you..Congrats

I was surfing the net..I found this site to be very helpful and its free..for the may overcomers please look at this website..Its designed somewhat like NCLEX..Trust me i know failed nclex more than once. yea its good to know your core content but for the most part u will have a bulk of priortization/safety and infection control/ possible math question or several/ its alot of who would u see first, who will u call bk if u recieved the following phone calls, what pt would u assign to a floating nurse, sata questions, thats the bulk of the test REALLY...Go online and take this test (its 10 questions) I promise u this test is designed just like NClex...put into your search engine: priortization questions for nclex (2) click on the link that says 265 nclex example questions most like nclex (3) select delegation priortization and click on that sample ....there will be 10 questions take the test your score will appear at the end...if u done well ur thinking right if u didnt do good go bk and retake the test and GO WITH YOUR GUT INSTINCT b/c i changed 2 of my answers which were right...Dont second guess yourself!!!!

search engine (priortization questions on nclex) click on free nclex review, rev quizzes, exams, questions, and resources...click on the study guide zone (4) areas should come up in each area there is 20 questions designed just like nclex...some of the links on the main website may be down however, u should be able to go to the study guide zone for sure and take theses test and the answers will be below.....IT IS IMPORTANT THAT U GET INTO THE MODE OF ANSWERING THESES TYPE QUESTIONS.....ONCE U GOT IT YOU WILL BE FINE W/TAKING THE NCLEX EXAMINATION...DONT THINK INTO THE QUESTION. USE WHAT U HAVE AVAILBLE, AND IF IT DOESNT APPLY TO WHAT THEIR ASKING RULE IT OUT!!!! TRY IT AND TELL ME WHAT U THINK

My experience is limited in NCLEX, but i advice you to look for rationale for the wrong answer too, what i used to do when I answer the question I understand the right choice then I look for an explanation for the other wrong three ones. This will enrich you info. also you will learn to prioritize and apply the right technique.

Best wishes to all
