I graduate in June and plan to take the boards in August
I will not work while studying for the boards. I have a friend who started in the MICU before taking the boards, and 2 months later she still does not feel ready to take it:o
I planned on applying in January, but I think I might start now since UCLA has now created a wait list for new grads:uhoh3:

I graduated May 4th, but didn't take the final exam (HESI) until May 7th.

No, my internship doesn't start until July 21st.

I got offered a job one month into my last semester.

I plan to work at a teaching hospital in the OR. The internship is 9 months, and is day shift.
What gift would you like to give urself?
Well, I was saying a treadmill, but went to OK to the Indian casinos and won the money for a treadmill a couple of months ago. LOL I have been eyeing one of those 60 GB hard drive camcorders with a great zoom lens!!!!! ('bout $1200!)
I'll have plenty to pay toward my 17 y/o daughter's senior year in high school, and starting her off in college!
I just took NCLEX on Monday and found it to be an absolute nightmare. Nothing I could have studied in the weeks since graduation would have prepared me. I graduated with honors, and the test kicked my butt. I will be able to obtain my results online later this morning. I have such a sick feeling in my stomach...

How did you do!? Im sure you did great...no one comes out feeling good. GOod think you have quick results though. Im in California and we have the tortuous waiting game. I take mine Monday 9th at 8am...yikes~!!

Miraculously and very thankfully, I PASSED!!!!!
I wish the best to you and to all others who are taking the test soon. It is very hard, but try to be calm, and keep plugging away. It will seem like you're getting them all wrong. It did to me, and here I am, an RN. You can be too.

i proposed and she accepted we've been together for 4 years lool it was expected to agree on that
oh yeah ... it is coool no NCLEX .. we have a board exam (lebanese version) it is really simple .. 1 or 2 oral questions ... no written material lool ... i will do the NCLEX if i want to go to US :S
i would like to work in the US but am scared of the NCLEX and of leaving my country and be alone there .. it is a real challange!

well first off i graduate in march

im taking the nclex june 9th thats in 2 weeks so nervous
