Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (MCPHS) Spring 2020

Hello,

I am starting this forum to see if anyone finished their application to the MCPHS Spring 2020 cohort yet?

I have a 3.06 cumulative gpa and a 3.21 gpa from the school I finished my bachelors in.

Does anyone know when we will receive admissions decisions?

I am in the same boat except I am due to hear back from MCPHS this week. All of the other schools I applied to will not let me know until late this year or early next year when it might be too late. Most of my anxiety stems from whether or not I should accept MCPHS If I get in and just go for it which may cause me to miss out on the other great programs I won’t have heard back from yet.

Thats exactly what I'm going through right now! lol I've been trying to find programs that start later in the year but have rolling admissions or early decision so that I can hopefully get in somewhere else and have more time to see if I've been accepted to my top schools.

Exactly! I already got accepted to one other school that was literally at the bottom of my list but the positive feedback is making me hopeful that I will also have good responses in the future. I'm a west coast girl so I'm preferring a warmer climate than Massachusetts. I guess we will wait and see! I need to see if I even get into MCPHS yet lol

I spoke to financials and the school is basically 90k if you room and board - but they do offer merit scholarship and mcphs scholarship. It's a nice perk not to have to find a house share or apartment share and to be right on campus in an accelerated program is ideal.

I'm not sure. I have until Friday to pay deposit. I love that they have dorming. I feel nervous trying to find a house with roommates or apartment share and I work FT and don't have time to visit and look around. They are less than NEU but NEU has a stellar reputation which I like. I don't know how much that matters when getting a job though. I paid Northeastern already because they came in weeks ago with an offer of admission. I am waitlisted at U Rochester and Pace which I like because they're 12 months. Still waiting to hear from two NY schools which I would prob accept at if I got in.

I work in the ER and every nurse I’ve asked says it doesn’t really matter where your degree is from! But I too am waiting for a NY school and University of Miami. I just don’t think I’ll know before I might have to move/commit to MCPHS ? I also live in California so I’m stressed about securing housing as well
