Maricopa Waiting List / Placement / Timestamps 2010+

Published

Hey everyone, I wanted to start a place for people to post and repost about waitlist times, placement runs, and their timestamps.

It is very hard searching for all the information and maybe people will access this thread and keep it updated with information so we all can get some idea on where we stand in line for Maricopa Nursing Placement.

As for me I have a

6/11/10 8:01:32 Timestamp. The placement just ran on March 6th,2012 and I was not placed. On the application website it says that the placement did NOT reach the June timestamps. This will mark 5 semesters that I was not placed (was expecting a 3 semester wait)

I am curious how far the placement ran. If people that were placed during the last placement run (3/6/12) come across this thread and would be willing to post their timestamp and what school choice number (1 through 5) they were placed in that would give an indicator how far away it is.

With almost 2500 people still on the waiting list it looks like it can be a 4-5 year wait for people just now getting on it. :(

Look forward to chatting with all of you and good luck.

Thats sound like a good plan it will go by fast. Yes, I'm in the gateway CEP/NAU program that starts June 2 I'm so excited, but at the same time scared to death. I will let you know how it goes. My friend is on the list and she has a time stamp of 8/13.

Yes, these last 18 months have flown by, some days I try not to think about it other days i'm obssesed with waiting to start. I know the timing will be right for me. Good for you and best of luck!!

Sounds like your days are just like mine:)

Does anyone know what time stamp Maricopa is on as of now?

I thought I saw someone post recently that they were 6/2012 and had gotten placed..

yes June 2012 is correct. They just ran a 6th placement and are still working from June 2012 date/time stamps

06/06/2014 08:00:53am is my official long wait number. Friend who applied the day after me got 06/06/2014 08:00:08am, so it is random and cruel at the same time.

They take all the applications they receive in an entire application period (2 months I believe) and randomize them. They are then given time stamps. 1 per second. So someone can have 08:00:36 and another person can have 08:00:37, etc.

Thats the cruel part! Well at least my name is in the hat now, and I have some time to work on other classes. AZMama86, your in the program already right? Have not finished reading through the last 18 pages of this thread.

Yes it stinks!! I start the NAU CEP program in Spring 2015. I was accepted to start in January 2014 but I deferred because I wanted to save more money for the program (I did NOT want student loans!!), and I was holding out for the CEP program. So my deferral was up and I was placed to start August 2014, but last week found out I got into the CEP program so I accepted that placement instead. Even though I could be halfway done with the RN program by the time I will be starting the CEP program, I will still get my bachelor's from NAU earlier than I would have had I started the regular RN program in January 2014 and done the RN and bachelor's separately! Crazy right?

Was anyone placed during the most recent placement on 6/10 ? I believe it was the 7th placement run for this fall. If you were placed this round, what was your date/time stamp?

I would like to know what time stamp Maricopa is on now. How many placements do they do?
