Hey everyone, I wanted to start a place for people to post and repost about waitlist times, placement runs, and their timestamps.
It is very hard searching for all the information and maybe people will access this thread and keep it updated with information so we all can get some idea on where we stand in line for Maricopa Nursing Placement.
As for me I have a
6/11/10 8:01:32 Timestamp. The placement just ran on March 6th,2012 and I was not placed. On the application website it says that the placement did NOT reach the June timestamps. This will mark 5 semesters that I was not placed (was expecting a 3 semester wait)
I am curious how far the placement ran. If people that were placed during the last placement run (3/6/12) come across this thread and would be willing to post their timestamp and what school choice number (1 through 5) they were placed in that would give an indicator how far away it is.
With almost 2500 people still on the waiting list it looks like it can be a 4-5 year wait for people just now getting on it.

I believe they are still working trough June. They will run placement up until a week or 2 before classes start due to people either not passing background or drug test, or some can't pay or whatever other reason for declining a placement or dropping. But like 3-4 weeks before classes start they just call when placentas open up. And if you don't answer, they move down the list until someone answers and accepts.
They do as many placements as they need to until they fill up all the slots in all the programs. Usually they are still filling the last spots around 2wks before school starts. Not sure what stamp they're on now..that's what I'm trying to find out too!
I am 12/12 8:00am so I know I have some time....just curious if I have a chance of getting placed in Spring 2015....I only want night or weekend programs because I want to keep working.....
@CateinPhoenix, I am also a 12/12 at 8:01am. I still have a little hope for us for Spring 2015..we'll see! I, too am hoping for a night or weekend program! Maybe we'll be in the the same one.
hey all, they just ran their 8th placement today and are still working from the 6/2012 date time stamp. I myself am in a 12/2012 date time range and looking to either start with Gateway or Glendale so I can continue working. Maybe we'll all be in the same group :)

I'm at Gateway hopefully you will get in this fall semester fingers crossed. If not it looks like Spring. Being on the 8th placement there must be people that have gone elsewhere or have changed there minds.
I was thinking the same thing, I had asked if it was normal to run this many placements and she was kind of hesitant so it sounds hopeful that I can be placed by Spring of 2015 since I have actually seen a post where they have been placing since Jan 2012 for this fall 2014 semester. My fingers are definitely crossed, I want to start working towards my dream already :):)

It actually is very normal to have this many placements. Placements will run until a week or 2 before the semester starts. Empty spots come up all the time. Either people defer or decline placement, they might not pass the background check, they decide they don't want to persue nursing anymore, they grt the schedule and realize they can't commit that much time, family emergencies, you name it. After the fifth placement, there is probably only a handful of placements done each round. I had 2 people in my block 1 that were placed 6 days before class started. And if there weren't any placed for a round, there will be no uodate. Then when more spots come open, the next placement date, they fill them. Keep watching your email just in case.

Just got a call today for placement at GCC in the accelerated program. My timestamp was from August 2012. Can't remember the exact time, but it was a very early number like 8:00am and 06 seconds
