Maricopa CEP Fall 2021 (Applicants for December 1, 2020- February 1, 2021)

Hello everyone! Just wondering how many of you are applying to the CEP program this coming December 2020?  I couldn't find a post for the upcoming Maricopa CEP application period so I figured I'd start a post to see who will be applying and if you would like to share your score and schools of choice.

I will be applying to Grand Canyon University with:

First choice: Glendale Community College (weekend cohort)

Second Choice: Estrella Mountain Community College

HESI A2 scores:

Englist - 95.33%

Math - 98%

GPA: 3.84

No prior degree

Overall points: 86.47

Hey guys! I just found out this thread. I submitted mine 3 days ago and I haven’t heard from them. I’m kinda worried bec I didn’t get any confirmation email. ?

I submitted mine to GCC on Jan 7th and haven’t heard from them either.  I’m just assuming that there’s a higher volume of applicants now plus the start of semester too ? probably why some who submitted their applications early December received a confirmation.

I submitted mine to GWCC on 12/29 and I received a confirmation on 1/7, so I'm sure they're just backed up with the applications!

I applied with ASU and then PVCC, GWCC, SCC.

HESI eng: 91.33

HESI mat: 94

GPA: 3.71

2.5 points for a previous degree giving me 83.21 points on my application. 

Does anyone happen to know what date the Summer classes start if you get accepted?

I just received a confirmation that my application has been processed!  NOT an acceptance! 

I submitted the CEP application back in January 7 to GCC!

Do any of yall know why GCU advisor would be calling me? That is where I applied at. I was previously accepted in their BSN social work program but decided not to do it. She said she saw my name on the MCC board for the CEP program. I wonder what that means? Im soooooo nervous!!

Maybe to confirm you aren’t doing the social work program. The best thing would be to answer or call back and clarify.

I submitted my application on December 17th and finally got confirmation a few days ago on January 19th. I had emailed my advisor through PVCC and she said she was swamped and it could take awhile to hear back.

I got my PVCC confirmation Dec 18, then received a 2nd confirmation this week. Several others on the facebook group say the same thing.

They are just busy, The GCU advisor at MCC said that they have to have all of their calculations done and submitted by the 1st. So pickings for the program are done on the 1st of Feb. Notifications just don't start going out until the week of the 21st.

Hey! I submitted my application at the beginning of December. Three days ago, my advisor from Phoenix college notified me that my CEP application was submitted. I believe they are backed up with applications. 

CEP Timelines for 2020-2021

For application period Tuesday, December 1, 2020 through Monday, February 1, 2021:

Following the last date for application intake, all advisors (both Maricopa and university) will have until Wednesday, 2/17/21 to input/update CEP applications

Directors will meet during the week of 2/22/21 to sort, review, and place CEP students

The first email acceptance letters will go out during the week of 2/22/21 and emails will continue to be sent until all seats are filled. This can take a few weeks!

An email to those not placed will go out no later than the week of March 22, 2021

Please keep in mind that during the time email notifications are being sent for students to accept or decline, there may be several mailings so please be patient while all seats are being filled. Dates may fluctuate slightly due to unforeseen circumstances.
