Manifesting job offer by ordering new scrubs.

Published

So I had a job interview today, and I get a good gut feeling about this place, so I'm hoping for an offer. Probably not until next week, as it is Friday after all. Anyway, I'm ordering some new scrubs in hopes that the universe will provide an opportunity to wear them. It reminds me of the superstitious things we do, like avoiding the "Q" word.

I had a promising job interview this morning too....and really want an offer. I have a closet full of scrubs, so maybe I need to dust them off

Yes, dust off those scrubs, throw a coin in a wishing well, bust out your lucky rabbit's foot, etc.

Good luck!

Good luck to you both!!

Good luck to you both!!

Thank You!

Best of luck to both of you!

Sending good thoughts your way. It's a rough economy these days

Good luck!

I have 2 job offers on the table. One is FINALLY a hospital position BUT it's only part time. But there would be opportunities for bidding on full time in the future. It's pretty much a "foot in the door"...something I've been waiting for...for a year!!! Of course I'd have to work holidays and weekends like any hospital job would. Shifts could be 12 hrs. 7am-7pm OR 7pm to 7am.

The other opportunity is a full time school nurse position for a charter school. It comes with excellent benefits. I loveloveloved working in the school setting before....and I love being around kids. The hours would be ideal...M-F, no weekends, no holidays....yet I'd have to find something else in the summer...

RIGHT NOW...my priority is having a sane schedule that would allow me the most time with my family, MONEY is another priority...

I'm thinking the school nurse job definitely is something I'd LOVE....but I feel like I've been waiting for soooooo long for this hospital job that maybe I should hurry up and jump on that....

I never imagined I'd have 2 opportunities at once to choose from!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

Good luck with your decision!!! I'm also waiting to hear back from two interviews and the weekend is killing me!! I'm not very patient when it comes to these things!!!

Good luck!

I'd chose family. Having those holiday's and weekends plus the option of off time in the summer sounds way better to me than exhausting, variable shifts. The extra money may not seem worth all the hassle. And, with good planning, you can 'make' money by 'saving' money in your budget to offset the financial end.

That's what I chose recently. I left the busy nursing home (I know, not a hospital) but all the same it was insane how the schedule and constant calls when off to come can undermine your peace of mind. Inservices q weekly, online continuing education monthly. With school nursing, you are off! So, when the opportunity opened up, I took the school nurses job for the schedule, for my family. Some years down the road, my youngest will be in college and I can make a change then if I feel I want more of a challenge with nursing. Hated missing the holidays while at LTC.

To me time with family, actually having a life is worth more in the longrun :)

Yes! New scrubs, new job. The law of attraction. :)
