Making New Friends

have any of you made any new friends since starting this semester or are you still friends with the ones you made previously, while in school.

i have met a new friend. she is just wonderful in spirit and humor.

I've met a lot of new people this semester, but I seem to spend my breaks with people people I have known from earlier classes. I am sure that by the time it is over we will all be friends :)

Have some from nursing school, but I'm kinda a loner anyway, so I basically stick to myself.....

Just what popped into my head too :D

There's a girl that I know I'll become friends with, she cracks me up...always stressed and flustered, looks like she needs a hug:o But I'd like to get to know her a little better first before I start planting hugs...I don't want to seem frightening! So just smiles and chit chat for now :chuckle

Secon semester SN hubby can't keep the phone on the hook. He has study group at our house q Sun, by the pool. Also he carries a 4.0 GPA. Never at a loss for friends, study partners, etc.

School started 2 days ago and already people that are repeating this semester were told to "get to know" him.

I am new at my school. Most of the other students all knew each other from pre-reqs. It is hard sometimes for me because everyone takes their breaks with their friends. They make their study groups with their friends. On more than one occasion I was made to feel that since I wasn't one of their group from prior classes, I wasn't welcome.

Not to say that I don't talk and make friends! Just that some of the students don't realize how hard it can be on people who don't know anyone.

julie, i am a loner too but i don't meet a stranger anywhere i go. i talk to lots of people but this particular one and i just kind of "hit" it off from day one.
