Hi everyone!

I just wanted to start a thread so we can keep each other updated on what units we are all applying to and when we start hearing back from them as we apply!

Congratulations pedspedsnurse!! Whoohoo!! Do you mind if I ask when and how you heard back and also when you interviewed? And thank you so much for your post! As for tips, from what I understand the most important thing is to be yourself, confident, and honest in your responses, and that the interview itself is more conversational than the 1st. However this is only hearsay! Best Wishes!!

Thank you!! My first interview was last Tuesday, and I got an email on Wednesday saying that I had been selected for a second interview. Then, they called me on Friday to tell me the time and date of the interview! It is on one of the acute care units

Hi so for those who interviewed for CVICU, I received an email from Danielle saying that I should hear back mid week. I emailed her last week asking about when we can expect to hear an update for CVICU people. Has anyone that interviewed for CVICU received something else?

I, too, interviewed for the CVICU and have yet to receive anything. I do know of one person who I went to school with who also interviewed for the CVICU already had a second interview. To be fair, this person has a position within the Stanford Healthcare business, so possibly that expedited their decision to bring that person on quickly?

Not sure... but did you see there is a posting for the CVICU as a clinical nurse I position right now on the LPCH website? It looks like you need your license to apply, but I'm confused about the difference between that and what we applied for?

Congrats pedspedsnurse! I also interviewed for Acute Care Unit(s)! I was wondering if you had heard back the day after your interview or was it the week after? I interviewed Tuesday July 2nd and still waiting on an update......

I am also wondering about the newly posted Clinical Nurse I positions that popped up yesterday???? Anyone know anything???
