Hi everyone!

I just wanted to start a thread so we can keep each other updated on what units we are all applying to and when we start hearing back from them as we apply!

Hey everyone! Has anyone had a second interview with CVICU and heard anything since? This waiting period is the worst! ?

Good luck to everyone

Did you have a second interview already??

Yes I did!

Hi everyone!

I am a current BSN student and plan to apply to the march cohort. I am wondering if those getting interviews/offers have any advice? I am concerned that I am at a bit of a disadvantage because I do not go to school in the area. Does anyone else have a similar situation?

Wondering what types of things you had on your resume/anything you feel helped you really stand out?

Thanks in advance!

Hi guys just wanted to update that I followed through and emailed Danielle again and I received a rejection letter unfortunatley! Congrats to those that were offered a position! (This is for CVIUC)

I too just recieved a rejection letter for the CVICU. Congrats to everyone else!!

Did you happen to ask her why there is still a posting for New Grads in the CVICU? I'm still very confused by these new grad postings that came out this week and last!

No problem! I would love to connect with other people in the cohort. If anyone else ends up accepting an offer at LCPH, let me know! Maybe we can start a facebook group or something.

I just accepted a job on one of the acute care units last week! If you make a facebook group, let me know! I want to connect also ?

Also, does anyone know what the uniform is or what colored scrubs we are able to wear? I want to start looking for some!

Specializes in NICU.

I don't know about the scrubs. I've been wondering the same thing. I just completed my occupational health appointment yesterday, so I'm hoping I'll get more information about orientation soon. If you hear anything, please let me know!

Hi everyone,

I am planning to apply to the spring cohort as well and am requesting the same advice that Ace93 asked. LPCH is the dream, and I understand they score applications on a point system. Would anyone kindly provide insight into what they believe management is looking for/what made you stand out? Thanks so much!

hi guys! Congratulations to everyone are continuing in this interview process and for those who probably already got hired! I was wondering if you guys have an advice on questions they will be asking for the interview? I got invited into the Maternity Unit Interview for New Grad Program at LPCH this month! anything will help! anxiety is kicking!
