i've seen salary surveys and they seem to be all over the place. so, i thought it would be cool to do a little survey with y'all. maybe others out there can benefit from some survey info...maybe even decide if it's worth going into nursing. thanks for the input. i'm trying not to get too personal here.

I'm a LPN in Atlanta, 2 1/2 years ago right out of school I made 17.25/ hr in a hospice/acute care facility. Doing a private duty homehealth case 21.00/hr w diff on weekend. On Monday I star orientation for a visiting nurse job ( leaving my hospice job ) and that will pay 24.00 per pt which is like 24.00 an hr, except u may do 2 pt in 1 hr if they live closet to each other. But it still averages out about 24.00/hr because you have 7-8 pt a day.
