  1. Sarah, I pray with confidence for your well-being. With faith, all is possible through HIM.
  2. i've seen salary surveys and they seem to be all over the place. so, i thought it would be cool to do a little survey with y'all. maybe others out there can benefit from some survey info...maybe even decide if it's worth going into nursing. thanks for the input. i'm trying not to get too personal here. job title: lpn - state and/or city/state: years in nursing: salary $: if you don't want to be specific, please give a range. this should be interesting:coollook:. thanks for your reply and honesty. tam
  3. Started a new job, recently. Seems like most I work with are pretty displeased with their jobs. How about you? Just curious. Like, Love or Dislike?
  4. Wow! Yes, I work with alot of geriatrics...seen some pretty disiterested doctors throw orders around and the floor nurses simply disregard some of the flippant and erroneous ones. Thanks goodness for nurses like you.
  5. OMG! My day shift is a nightmare. I'm ready to change to night shift. I found this position through my sister-in-law. Does anybody know the best nursing jobs boards out there? I'm looking in the Atlanta area. The ones I've checked so far are NursingPost.net and Indeed.com and allnurses.com, of course. Any others I should frequent? Thanks. Tam
  6. If this is the worst treatment you get in your nursing career, then you should be thankful (have I got some stories...for another time). Always remember, life is NOT fair...especially on the job. You don't (and I wouldn't recommend it) have to be her friend. Her behavior can/should not interfere with your performance as a nurse. In fact, if it does, then you have only one person to blame:nono:. My suggestion is to bite your lip, ignore what she is doing, and spend your time and energy doing your job to your best ability. You will be noticed for your dedication and performance...as she will be recognized for her lack of passion and integrity. But, that IS her business. Don't let it become yours. Keep the faith and passion that you have. Tam
