I took my NCLEX yesterday at 8am and am waiting on results. I took my mom in for a cardiac cath today and her nurse went to the same school as I did and graduated 6 months before me. When she heard I was waiting for my results, she immediately took me to a computer to check. She said her results were up in 24h and mine should be, too. Well, of course they weren't! She kept wanting to check and, pretty soon, I got so anxious, I came home and burst into tears! I just know I failed! I got 75 questions, no math, lots of priority and some "all that apply" and had no idea once I left the testing center on how I did. Well, my husband saw how upset I was, he offered to break into the SBON office and check for me! That got me to laughing, but I am still heartsick. I have been reading these posts for the last 3 weeks and I should be encouraged but the waiting is killing me. I already have a job in a critical care fellowship, and we are taking a cruise next week before I start my new job. Well, there won't be a job if I didn't pass. My family says for me to calm down, but I am a wreck!
Dbaby: Breathe. Close your eyes. Breathe long, deep breaths. It does wonders for that panicked feeling. :)
I'm not going to tell you not to think about it, you will, but remember that the odds are with you for passing. And making yourself sick isn't going to change them either way.
I'm big into positive imagery! :)
took my test last week and passed with 75 questions. I too had quite a number of select all that apply. I would guess around 8 give or take. I hated those type of questions and always seemed to get them wrong in tests at school. I also had no math questions. I would think that "select all that apply" questions are probably up there when in comes to difficulty...so it may be a good sign.
hang in there.

Hi Everyone,
I took NCLEX earlier today, machine shut off at 75 but I really feel like I didn't make it. I've read here on the board that 75 is supposed to be a little encouraging but I really don't think it is. What makes me even more nervous is that I got about 8 - 9 select all that apply which to me are the hardest and I really feel that I probably got around 6 of the 9 of them wrong. I was so upset to see these questions on the screen keep popping up it was like a cruel joke!!
IN any case was wondering if anyone had a similar experience where you got lots of these type questions, how you thought you did and if you passed. I could use the extra faith, because it's not looking so good for me.
