Lots of Select All That Apply...

Published

Hi Everyone,

I took NCLEX earlier today, machine shut off at 75 but I really feel like I didn't make it. I've read here on the board that 75 is supposed to be a little encouraging but I really don't think it is. What makes me even more nervous is that I got about 8 - 9 select all that apply which to me are the hardest and I really feel that I probably got around 6 of the 9 of them wrong. I was so upset to see these questions on the screen keep popping up it was like a cruel joke!! :o

IN any case was wondering if anyone had a similar experience where you got lots of these type questions, how you thought you did and if you passed. I could use the extra faith, because it's not looking so good for me. :crying2:

RN2 - I like your nursing diagnosis - it's soooo true.. :rotfl:

I think that was a BIG part of my problem yesterday I felt ssooo nervous during the first 1/2 of the test, I literally could feel my heart pounding in my chest. At one point I was trying to remember what a normal wbc, was and b/c of nerves I couldn't remember if it was 5 - 10, 000 or 10,000 - 20,000 how *&*^%!! is that??? Again, this is another reason I DON'T think I made it, I was so nervous that my brain just kept literally shutting down. I makes me so MAD at myself. :angryfire

I will be popping that champagne cork tonite! Thanks to all!

I have never known stress like the NCLEX and waiting for its results. Years of nursing school didn't seem to prepare me for it but it really did. When I sat down at the computer, I didn't start my test for 10 minutes. I had to calm down, and actually pretend that I was back in my kitchen, sitting in my PJs, answering practice questions! It really helped with the nerves.

Relaxation techniques should be taught every quarter in nursing school!
