I applied at El camino RN and Rad Tech (as a back up) Pasadena plus rad tech as a back up) Glendale, Harbor city... thats about it. I should have applied at Saddleback and a few other but.. I'm tired of applying. Thats why is Rad Tech accepts me. I'm going to take it.. How about you?

I am *strictly RN*--all the way. I hear Rad Tech is awesome, though! Good for you for having a back-up plan! :) :) :)

BTW...no email from Harbor. Same for my friend. . . she never heard anything either. Oh, well. . .there's always tomorrow. . . right?

Hi Trogina,

You are defninitly correct, there is always tomorrow. I admire the positive attitude. Keep it up! The only reason I decided to apply for Rad Tech was because I've been applying for soooooo long (2yrs.) that I'm getting frustrated and restless. Perhaps my direction is not in Nursing. I don't want to force it, I also don't want to wait anymore. But we shall see.

P.S-- I've hard nothing from LAHC. Yet another thing we have in common.....

I didn't get an email from LAHC either. I guess that is one more school that I didn't get into. My record is 0 out of 6 so far. Arrgh! So annoying! Well good job to all that did get an invite.

Did anyone call LAHC to see if all of the emails had been sent out? I just want more people from this board to get accepted somewhere!! Anyway, good luck, guys, you'll get in somewhere for fall.

Trogina, you are officially in LA southwest, right? BTW, thanks for the info, I am definitely going to make an appointment with a counselor. It is true about the downsizing, they mentioned it at the info session Where do you live? Is LASC going to be a tough commute?

Domarea~ I'm right there with you. *NONE* of my friends got an invitation from LAHC--and we are *all* students currently enrolled there. . .AND have all our pre-reqs from LAHC.

Oh, well. . .have you tried ELAC or LASW? I am going to look at Cypress and Golden West for the Spring.

Trogina, I just got my official denial email from LAHC. I have applied to LASW and that is the last school that I have not heard from for fall. If I don't get in there, I am thinking about private BSN school or LVN school. I am just so disappointed. Well that is the way the cookie crumbles good luck to you in your entry to nursing school!~

I still haven't recieved anything. I actually did'nt even see a counselor as I was not informed I should. Apprently (from what I read on this thread) you ahve to see a counselor? How is a student suppose to know this??

I hope at the very least I would get a denial so that I know I follow the right steps. --Andrew

Dont' worry, Domarera--there's still LASW and their notices are going out in the next couple of weeks.

Andrew- you should check your spam and see if the email went there. You should also call and follow up with the nursing office. You should have received an email by now either way. You don't have to see a counselor to be accepted to Harbor. LASW requires it--so don't stress about that.
