Has anyone applied (or planning on applying) to the RN program at LAHC college? Is there a waitlist that you know of? Any comments, tips, or general info on this school is much appreciated.

Hey guys!! I'm new to this board but decided to join as I just received notification today via email that I got into Harbor!!! I am beyond overjoyed. I applied to LAHC, LACC, LAVC and Pasadena but was desperately hoping to get into LAHC. I completely look forward to spending the next two grueling years with some of you!!

I am extremely fortunate as this was my first attempt in applying. It wasn't easy though, as I'm sure many of you know. Especially seeing that I applied to Harbor, Valley, SM, Pasadena and LACC. I completed all my pre-reqs at LACC and SW and I also have a degree which I obtained in WA state (which includes 2 city colleges) so sending transcripts TO all of those schools, FROM all of those schools was an absolute nightmare! If anyone needs advice in the application process, let me know!

just out of curiosity, has anyone taken medical terminology or iv calculations as of yet? Reason I ask is because LAHC will not have a summer program this year and El Camino College classes are full...

I'm thinking about just buying the books and studying on my own during the summer.

I've taken med term. It's really not that difficult. Just a lot of memorization. It's easy to implement on you start actually using it.

Anyone has e-mail from LAHC about orientation?

I did not get it yet.

they told in e-mail, they will send e-mail within 2-3days about orientation.
