This is for those of us that will be applying to LA county college of nursing and allied health's fall 2014 semester. I will be submitting my application for the basic RN program tomorrow... Yayyy!!! I am beyond excited, I can't believe this time has finally come!

Not a problem I am happy to help! I took the pack with me and HR also told me I didn't need it, they gave me forms to fill out but I would take it just to be cautious. And same with the employee health, they give you the papers to fill out bur it helped that I had the ones we got from school filled out so I could copy quickly.

Ber, about the book I believe there is a one volume edition which is the same info. If the title author and edition are the same then its the same book probably just the one large volume version.

For the extra credit classes like speech and humanities do they just look on the transcript for these? They posted the application but there was no spot to put this at, how will I know that they confirmed I took all those classes?

Your transcripts will provide this information. The classes listed on the application are the classes that must be completed prior to applying. The other classes can be done later, prior to them calculating your points so that they can be counted.

Yeah I took it for csula. I got an 85%... I emailed lac earlier this year and they said they'll take it since it's teas 5

Hey everyone!

I've been somewhat MIA on this thread because I wasn't sure what school I was going to attend.

I've been accepted into some BSN programs but I think I'm going to attend County with you all due... as righteousjenn mentioned, BSN programs are expensive $$$. LOL

I've held off on doing some of the requirements cause I wasn't sure of what I was going to do but I'm 90% sure that I will be going to County so I have gotten started.

I just wanted to ask if you all knew whether the health clearance form is suppose to be completed before we go in for the live scan? I believe it isn't supposed to be done but I just wanted to make sure! :)

Thanks! On the application I'm pretty sure it says mail it in but my friend is going to drop hers off, which is better because then you know if they have it.

I suggest she call and ask if she can hand deliver.

Perhaps I heard wrong but when I went to the information session, someone asked if they can drop it off and they said no.
