Los Angeles County College of Nursing - Spring 2020

I wanted to start a thread for those applying to the Spring 2020 Basic (Generic) program. The school website posted dates for an information session for prospective students. I'll be attending May 31, 2019, and wanted to see if anyone else is going to the same day or any of the other ones?

Application window opens June 15th for Spring 2020. I hope this thread will help answer admission/application questions and get connected with other applicants or those who are currently in the program.

I was not accepted, but according to the email I have the opportunity to be placed on the waiting list. Hopefully I am able to secure a place later.

I'm sorry @cxvnx I hope you end up getting a spot I am sure someone will decline the acceptance. I'm surprised and happy to hear they started a waiting list or alternate list, I believe that wasn't an option before.

I'm sending my acceptance email (to enroll) right away, we have till October 18th to decide to enroll or decline.

I didn’t receive an email from them ? Does anyone know if they are still sending it and would they inform us by the end of today that we were not accepted if anything? ☹️

@Vg380 Congrats on getting in! I believe I had 82 points before the interview. I wonder what the cut off points were this cycle.

My friend hasn’t gotten anything she had 80 so I was wondering what the cut off was
