Hello I am applying to LAC Allied School of Nursing for the Fall 2013 semester ADN program. I was wondering if any body else is applying to this school for the fall 2013 semester or if there is anybody that currently attends or has attended this school that has any advice or opinions about this school. Any feedback would greatly be appreciated. Thank you in advanced.

Yup! Are you taking any classes right now? Or are you done with prereqs?

I am doing my last prereq now, which is micro. What about you? Applying, or in the program already?

Done with prereqs and TEAS V. Waiting for acceptance letter from the schools I applied. Ugh! The wait time is stressing me out!

Are you from SOCAL? Los angeles area?

Cool! Hope to meet you! I work for the county at LAC+USC..its like less than a minute away from LA County college of nursing ?

Wow, that's great, hope to meet you, too. And I wish you luck to get an acceptance letter from the County. I emailed them recently to inquire about their program and they said that the cut score has been between 78-82, so you never really know :-). Fingers crossed :-). Keep us updated!:yes:

Thanks enzyme! Definitely will keep you posted! To be honest I am super scared now! It's a very long process! Ive been waiting since this summer. If I dont get in to any programs for Spring 2014, I'd be heartbroken ? but that's okay. I'll just continue applying and hoping they will accept me ?. I just wanna think positive even if Im scared. Prayers help me a lot!

I am sure you will get in somewhere :-). Don't even worry about it. Think positive and optimistic, and positive will come back to you, it always works for me :-). Just relax, there's no need for all that stress, it's just not worth it. The career is important, but there is nothing more important than your health, and believe me, an excessive stress can harm your body. Enjoy your life, do your best in everything you do and think pink. That's all you can do really.

Hi Enzyme, I called the school regarding the info session. The lady who answered the phone said the schedule isn't ready yet and to check back November 1st.
