I'm sorry it took so long to get back to you. I'll be going to the Southfield campus hopefully starting in Jan. Did you finish the testing yet?[/quote']I am applying there as well. I passed the compass and did very well from what they told me. Can you tell me what I can expect with the PSB? How is the vocabulary section? Easy every day words you have seen or not so? Thanks for any advice. Is there algebra or basic math and story problems?
Hello Mia'smom, Doodles01, and lindask, the PSB is not hard, its asks "what if" questions and some science questions, nothing major. I don't remember very much math on the PSB. At the end of the test it will ask you about your personal life and stress levels. As far as the bridge progam at Baker they told me that the LPN students from Auburn Hills Baker will have top priority to get into the bridge program over everyone else, which is upsetting to me because I have all my pre-reqs done for Bakers RN program :angryfire. Everest did not take any of them either. They told my my A&P was not acceptable because Everests A&P includes Nursing Fundamentals and Bakers did not. I think they are changing that though for the new January class. One bit of advise I can give you all is to get ALL your info in that is requested by your advisor. That will get you in for your interview with the nursing director faster. By the time you guys get in for the January class I will be starting level three. Good luck to all of you. Take Care

Hi there. Are either of you enrolled in the LPN program now at Everest in Sfld? I have applied for January and will be interviewing with the Director of Nursing. Have you heard that medical experience is now a requirement to get in the program? Not just a plus. I had someone just tell me it is now a requirement and I haven't worked in the medical field. I am now concerened about being accepted and this is something I really need to happen for my career goals. Please offer any information you have
Thank you

How are things going for you in the program? I am praying I will be accepted in January. I have gone through all the steps now in the application process. Please give me some advice about the program. I guess I will know either way when the letter comes. Also, hopesgramcracker told me it is a requirement to have a medical background to get in the program. I have concerns now about them denying me since I haven't been employed in the medical field. I know this is my calling and I so want this.
Please offer me any information you can.
Thank you
Hi mias mom!Are you going to everest? I am signed up there to start in january, but i am also currently going to occ, i dont know what to do and I am so afraid to make the wrong decision. Please let me know what you decide to do!

I am a Baker Flint student 51 years old and just applied for the Auburn Hills Step program from LPN to Rn. I have had a so so experiance with Baker but now I am fighting for financal aid--I was in the RN program and switched to PTA and now to LPN and I have 9 classes too many and Baker said I cannot get anymore Finanical Aid unless I file an appeal. Did your credits transfer to Everest in full or did you have to retake any classes. I still need Pharm and Holistics to get into the LPN program at Baker. Also, do you need to pass the HESI to get into the program at Everest? Also I talked with Janelle at Auburn Hills and she said nothing about being an Auburn Hills student to get into the RN program later on........Maybe Auburn Hills is the only campus with the LPN program? She also told me that if I came back to get my RN degree that I would slide right into the RN program in front of other students. I am curious about the Everest school. Thanks everyone
